Foot-saving life hack

Not about the kids, life, Helen Perry

Here’s a little trick for you that I wish I had known about years ago.

It is completely simples. To help with the pain of wearing heels on a night out, just apply a bit of ibuprofen gel to the soles of your feet before you put your shoes on.

I was concerned that this might result in a numb-footed catastrophe, but not at all, it just makes your feet feel a tiny bit tingly. It tried it for the first time at an evening charity do, and my top tip would be put the tube of gel in to your handbag before you go out. I was really glad to have it when my feet started to throb about half way through the evening. It would be brilliant for a wedding or any other long event.

Thanks to my gorgeous friend Charlotte for this wee gem. Do you have any life hacks that we should be sharing with the universe? Join in and pop them in the comments below.

I love this!! I love your insta & blog too!
I have so many fake tan tips that I’ve been thinking I’m might have to write my own post but the number 1 secret I wil share is latex gloves which you by a pack of 10 from Boots or Superdrug! Not the ones next to the fake tan, get the medical ones next to the plasters!

It’s amazing the amount of women who still don’t do this….no orange hands for ever more!!

Hi Alice, thanks so much for popping by and taking the time to comment it means the world to me! It seems we’re both starting out on our blog and Insta jouney at about the same time. You should definitely write your tips on gloves….orange hands is the worst. If you have any tips on how to tan ankles I would be all ears, it always ends up a total mess when I do it! Hx
